Power outages and the fallout

Any time there are power outages or brownouts there can be problems with using computers and/or projectors. When one of these devices doesn’t have time to power down correctly you can have components fail or data corruption. The actual operating life span of a projector lamp will vary according to operating conditions and usage patterns. Usage of a projector in stressful conditions such as, dusty environments, under high temperatures and abrupt powering-off may result in a lamp’s shortened operating life span or possibly lamp failure.
