New student laptops

When you get a new LCD screen for a laptop you always want to make sure that you received the right screen. Here the repair cat is taking a look and double checking my new screen.
Any time there are power outages or brownouts there can be problems with using computers and/or projectors. When one of these devices doesn’t have time to power down correctly you can have components fail or data corruption. The actual operating life span of a projector lamp will vary according to operating conditions and usage patterns. Usage of a projector in stressful conditions such as, dusty environments, under high temperatures and abrupt powering-off may result in a lamp’s shortened operating life span or possibly lamp failure.
This week didn’t see too many broken devices come in for repair but the few that did had some problems. Lately it appears that laptops and small tablet devices are being dropped more frequently. Not much you can do for a device with a broken screen but replace it. Take a look at two of our victims.
